Follow-Up Review: 10,000 miles on tires

We got lots of snow this year, really dry initially, then deep packed drifted snow, then freezing rain and wet deep stuff. These tires are unreal, CR-V always goes where it is pointed and stops great, anti-lock system and stability control rarely kick in and I actually tried a couple of times (on quiet roads with no traffic) to make it kick in. I have recommended these to everyone and would by them again. Great job Firestone and Tire Rack.

We live east of Vancouver BC and get mostly rain in the winter with a few days of deep (for us) wet snow, and slush. Plus we drive to the Interior occasionally on the highways where any type of weather is possible. This winter was typical and these tires are awesome on our CR-V. Can drive as fast as you need in very heavy rain, NO hydroplaning! In slush and snow they are awesome and are good on ice (we didn't have them studded). They are somewhat louder than the stock tires that we had (Dunlops) and over our new all seasons (Nokian i3's) but that is to be expected. As well they feel soft in corners but one would expect that too, given the deep tread pattern and softer compound etc. We have recommended these tire to many friends.

As well Tire Rack did a great job mounting and balancing them on steel rims, perfect is all I can say, they were shipped fast to a location in the US, near the border so we could pick them up. They even phoned to confirm everything which surprised me.
