Initial Review, 5,000 Miles on Tires Last tires were blizzacks and I was sad when they no longer made them in my jeeps size. Worried these cheaper tires would be worse but they ROCK. Just got through Blizzard nemo in ct where my city got 38" of snow. Plows were not equiped to handle this and streets were a mess...yet I was out there no matter what, even when the the state closed all roads to get supplies for an elderly neihbor. I drove mostly on at least a foot of packed snow/slush...and not only did I get through no problem, I never slid when braking or cornering...and always kept strait. In fact I never felt the limit of these tires. Of course Jeep 4x4 helps but still. Haven't gotten a chance to test on black ice yet..I assume they'll be a bit worse than a fresh set of blizzacks.
