Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500
Initial Review: 23,000 miles on tires
September 24, 2012

This tire started out pretty well with good handling and good noise level, but after it hit 15,000 mi the sound level started getting louder and louder with a definite buzz depending on the speed. I don't know how my wife has put up with it until now but at 23,000 we're ready to change them. I'll be going back to the Bridgestone Potenzas. The RE960AS I had previous were excellent and lasted a good 55,000. I see there's an updated RE970AS so I'll go for that.
