Firestone Destination LE
Follow-Up Review: 7,500 miles on tires
Love the LE's on the Mariner. MUCH quieter than the OE's. Good steering feel and a firm but not harsh ride. Took a 1 full MPG hit with these tires. Used to average 18.5 on the trip computer (very accurate BTW) and within 2 tanks the computer was consistintly reading 17.5. But would not take back the roaring Continental's if you paid me to.
Initial Review: 1,500 miles on tires
Bought these as replacement for the worthless OEM Conti's. These tires are superior in every way. For under $500 per set installed these are a steal. Nice consistent steering feel and sharp turn-in responses. We took a 1000 mile highway trip after several hundred breakin miles around town. This trip was to the crooked and steep roads on NW Arkansas and the tires never disappointed. Will buy again if we still have the vehicle.
