Firestone Destination LE
Follow-Up Review: 80,000 miles on tires
One tire got severely cupped because I allowed the alignment to get pretty far out of spec (must have hit something), and it has become noisy, but the remaining remaining three are still quiet and performing well. Not a bad tire at all for the price, good in the rain, wearing well, especially considering about half of those 80,000 miles were towing a small fifth wheel rv with an 800 lb. tongue weight on the bed. However I must note that my fuel consumption went up 10% as soon as I out these tires on my truck - that will be a higher priority when choosing their replacements.
Initial Review: 60,000 miles on tires
Good wet traction which at the time was a high priority. I have dedicated winter tires, so haven't had the opportunity to evaluate their snow traction. Good treadwear, considering they are used on a pickup which spends a good deal of time towing a fifth wheel trailer which puts a lot of load on the tires. Reasonable price. Probably would not buy these again because my fuel consumption went up 10%, offsetting the initial low price.
