Follow-Up Review: 18,000 miles on tires

18K miles in. Tires are down 2/32 all around so we should see 60K+ miles out of them. They have broken in nicely and are smoother than when they were new, although still pick up road noise a little more than stock Michelins did...but not a deal breaker. Great in snow and ice, handled Northern Michigan winter roads with ease as well as urban slush and goop around the city. They do get full of gravel really easily, but I guess that is a sacrifice for a good and TRUE year round tread pattern. I would seriously consider purchasing these again for this vehicle and have a renewed faith in Bridgestone/Firestone products.
Initial Review: 1,000 miles on tires
December 18, 2012

1000 miles on these so far, have tried in a light snow and they performed very well. I replaced Cross Terrains that were worn down and hard by 45,000 miles. These tires are quieter and more far responsive in the wet than the Michelins, but they do transfer road irregularities a bit more than the Cross Terrains. Another Escape review mentioned this - perhaps it is due to a new tire vs a worn out one. It isn't horrible by any means but the road thumps and bumps are more pronounced. However, for almost half the price, they seem like a good match for the Escape.
