Follow-Up Review: 30,000 miles on tires
June 17, 2014
Have now had these tires for 18 months and 30,000 miles. Expected miles, at present treadwear, look to go well past the rated 60,000 miles. This tire got through the Winter in commendable fashion, something we learned an awful lot of tires did not.

Handling, noise and driving traits have not changed, something that also cannot always be said about other tires, including other Firestones.

May be as good of a tire as Firestone has sold in a long, long time.
Initial Review: 5,000 miles on tires

Finest tire for my minivan I could have chosen. Previous (OEM) tire was quiet and lasted a commendably long time. But it had no other redeeming value. Immediately I noticed how this tire seemed planted to the pavement - it WANTED to be steered and driven hard. And yet, especially considering I just put what is basically truck-pedigree tires on my minivan, you have never had a smoother or quieter-riding tire.

Have already been through 2 rain, 5 snow and whatever else Mother Nature can throw at it. I may be fortunate in that my particular size is (curiously) 'H'-rated, which I'm sure helps handling. And fuel economy has actually nosed up a tad with these tires, a VERY impressive development.

I cannot yet comment on how long these tires will last, but if these tires last the way they perform, one may have just found a BEST BUY here. I certainly and already feel that way.
