Firestone Destination A/T
Follow-Up Review: 10,000 miles on tires
WELL, I FINALLY SOLD MY TRUCK. I HAD PUT OVER 10,000 MILES ON THE FIRESTONE AT'S AND THEY STILL LOOKED BRAND NEW. I PURCHASED A NEW RAM 1500 CREWCAB 4 WD TRUCK. THE FIRST THING I'M GOING TO DO IS BUY A SET OF FIRESTONE AT'S AND PUT THEM ON FOR WINTER. THE NEW TRUCK WHEELS ARE 275/ 60/ 20'S. I HOPE THE WIDER TIRE DOESN'T CAUSE ME PROBLEMS IN THE SNOW. IT CAME WITH GOODYEAR TIRES AND FROM WHAT I CAN FIND OUT IS THAT THESE TIRES ARE NOT TO IMPRESSIVE. I WON'T BE FINDING OUT. I HAVE ALSO BEEN THINKING OF GOING WITH A 17' WHEEL AND TIRE PACKAGE THAT THE RACK HAS SET UP. AFTER WINTER IS OVER I WILL PUT OUT A REVIEW WITH WHAT I END UP WITH. THANKS FOR LISTENING AND AS ALWAYS DRIVE SAFELY.
Initial Review: 7,000 miles on tires
I PURCHASED THIS TIRE FOR MY CHEVY TRUCK AND I HAVE A SNOW PLOW TO KEEP MY DRIVEWAY AND MY NEIGHBORS DRIVEWAY CLEARED. THIS TIRE REFUSES TO SPIN AND SLIP IN ANY DEPTH OF SNOW. IT'S UNBELEIVABLE. IT ALSO DRIVES QUIET AND RESPONDS ON A DIME. THESE ARE THE BEST TIRES I EVER HAD ON A TRUCK AND I HAVE HAD MANY TRUCKS IN MY LIFE TIME. ON THE HIGHWAY THEY ARE QUIET AND HANDLE SUPERBLY.IV'E HAD THEM FOR TWO SEASONS ALREADY AND THEY STILL LOOK BRAND NEW. I CAN'T EVEN SEE ANY TREADWEAR. I WILL BUY THESE TIRES AGAIN.THANKS FOR LISTENING. HAVE A SAFE ROAD AHEAD.
