I was a little skeptical about the Dunlops, as I used Graspics before with mediocre results. Unfortunately, most of the other winter tires in the size I needed were sold out. But these tires were a pleasant surprise. The snow traction is what you would expect with such an aggressive tread pattern (excellent), and ice traction is very good also, in contrast with the older Dunlops; what I didn't expect was decent handling, acceptable noise levels and little change in fuel mileage from all-season tires! Given the lower price, you can't go wrong with these.
