Initial Review, 500 Miles on Tires

My AP2 mostly gets driven on HPDE track events and to office (3.5miles each way). It is no where close to the performance of the DOT race tires I have used on this car such as RS3, R888 or RA1s. However, it is way more comfortable, much much quieter.

With the slightly less of maximum traction compare to a DOT race tire, I don't feel there is less steering sensitivity. The turn-in in fact feels almost as sharp as the R888 and break-loose characteristic is very smooth. Transition is very linear and easy recovery. I like it very much.

Spirited driving at 9/10th on the mountain feels very close to R888 with a bit more initial slippage (thus VSA off for max potential for this reason). But once catch grip, cornering stability is almost equivalent or better than RS3s.
It seems to like lower tire pressure better vs. the Toyos which respond well with higher pressure. Once the tire rolls to the edge, it stabilizes and grips very well.
