Follow-Up Review: 3,000 miles on tires
Now that I have been able to drive these tires in the snow it is time to give a proper snow review. I have taken the car up and down ice/snow covered roads to go skiing/sledding with the kids. I would slide down the hill with my boots, but the car would stick. I have been able to drive thru snow without any slippage from normal driving. While the max speed of these tires are rather low, I would say that is from the soft compound of the tires. At the limit (100mph) they do get really non-responsive. I don't tend to drive faster then 75 mph, which the do fine on the Autobahn.
Initial Review: 100 miles on tires
This is my initial review, had just put the tires on, no snow as of yet though. I will say that I am suprised by how quite the tires are for being studless snow and ice tires. I was expected more of a drone, but there isn't any. The ride quality is nice since I do have the ZSP option - Sports suspension, it does make the car a bit soft in the corners and you don't feel the bumps as much either. I will follow up when it snows here with how well it handles.
