Initial Review, 23,000 Miles on Tires Finally retired this set of Star Specs after 23,000 miles. My daily drive is a 52 mile spirited mix of city streets and interstate. These tires were very stable up to 20K miles. A few autocross runs finshed off their useful life. Handling was scary when tread was down to the wear bars & below. These same tires were not available for an exact replacement so I went with a set of Michelins Pilots. I'll be getting some track wheels/tires next spring.
