Initial Review, 1,500 Miles on Tires I bought these tires for my E36 M3 track car. The car is street legal and I drive it to and from the track so I wanted to get as close to R Comp without going R Comp. For comparison, I have run Michelin Pilot Supersport, Bridgestone Potenza RE-11, Yokohama AD-08 and Potenza RE-050 Pole Position tires. At the track, these tires are the best of any I have used. They grip right out of pit lane, have decent sidewall support, very predictable and responsive, and most importantly, a TON of dry grip. These things have as good or better grip than any other I have used (with the AD-08 being essentially a tie). They handle heat very well and did not get greasy after a 30 minute lapping session. After a full day 5 session of 30 minutes, they wore very well without any unusual wear characteristics. I found running them at 34 hot on this car worked very well (-3 deg camber in the front). I have not run these in the wet yet but one reason I chose them (over the RS-3) was due to their strong reputation in the wet. You could spend more on AD-08 or RE-11 but you don't get more performance. These are amazing bang for the buck tires for those who don't want to take the step to an R Compound just yet... or for a wet tire. Highly, highly recommended!!!
