	Initial Review, 14,000 Miles on Tires May 28, 2012 Overall, the best summer tire I've ever used. Many recommendations and cost per tire led me to the Dunlop Direzza Z1 Starspec, and this tire is everything I expected, and more! This is a very grippy street summer tire, and isn't bad versus it's competition in terms of rain traction. Longevity seems a bit better versus other tires as well, as I typically got around 18-20,000 miles out of the last two summer tires I've purchased. Really, the next step up in terms of a summer tire, at least for my vehicle, are your higher end summer tires, which cost around $50 more a tire.
