Initial Review, 500 Miles on Tires Replaced the original Nexen at 5000 miles. I wanted a wider and more agressive tread, a smoother and quiet ride as the Kia Optima is on the stiff side. This tire is extremely well rated by Consumer Reports, which influenced my decision. These tires are very quiet, smooth riding, no slapping on cracks or ruts.
