Initial Review: 5,000 miles on tires
January 22, 2014

I did a lot of reading before selecting these tires. I needed to replace the Kumho's that came standard on my Sonata. The original tires were the worst I've ever encountered in snow. I was afraid that all my research on buying the Sonata was wrong. I live in New York and although we don't get a lot of snow, the past two years have been above average. The new Continental tires on my car made a world of difference. We just got 14 of snow and my car went everywhere I asked, without spinning and sliding. I was not driving through 14 of snow, but the plowing still left a lot of snow on the ground and did not cause me any problems. I would not recommending these tires, or buying them again. The only thing that I cannot comment on is the tread-life and I've only put about 5,000 miles on them so far. I hope this has been beneficial.
