Follow-Up Review: 24,500 miles on tires
February 06, 2013
I now have 24,500 miles and mpg is sitting at 29.3, compared to 33.3 on my old Fuzion HRi tires.

Additionally, tread depth is down to 5/32 on all tires. I rotate/balance/align regularly. I expect to reach 35,000 before having to replace these 80,000 mile tires

And this on top of the fact that they ride and handle noticeably worse than my old tires.

I will not be buying Continentals again
Initial Review: 10,000 miles on tires
October 27, 2011

After 10,000+ miles on my Saturn SL2 I am ready to leave an informed review:

My old tires were Fuzion HRi 195/60HR15, roughly the same price range. They lasted me 50,000 miles. I recorded 33.3mpg over 20,000 miles. The new tires are averaging 29.4mpg over 10,000 miles, no other changes to the car and the drop happened the tank after I switched.

What that means is that with these tires I have paid $160 more in gas so far than I would have with my old tires ($4/Gal). By the time I reach 50,000 miles I could have bought 2.5 extra sets of the other tires, which handled and rode significantly better.

Sorry Continental, you failed.
