Initial Review: 50 miles on tires
December 13, 2011

These tires are a close out (12/13/2011) and looks like not many are left, so I may be writing only for posterity. In the winter, I drive this car 2.5 miles to the train station and back daily (it's actually my wife's summer car...my summer car is in the barn, an '86 vette vert). With our long & steep driveway, I need a decent snow tire. Because of the ragtop, I was most concerned about noise. So after one week and about 50 miles, I can definitely say that these tires ARE QUIET !!! Much quieter than the goodyear non-snow's that were replaced. There has been no snow or rain yet so I can't offer opinions on the traction side. Dry handling seems fine, but given this car's lack of power, it's pretty hard to push these tires to the edge. If these are still for sale at the end of the season, I'll update this review. If you are concerned about road noise, these tires have none...choose them. If you want road noise, don't choose these.
