Driving Condition: Mostly Highway
Driving Style: Average
Follow-Up Review: 10,000 miles on tires
When I took off the all seasons Yoko avid S33 and put on the extreme winter contact I noticed a big difference in tread depth on the winters.
The front wheel drive tires were at 7/32's and the rear were at 9/32's, from the 2012/13 winter season.
So considerable wear at the front.
Initial Review: 5,000 miles on tires
Went from Ontario to Florida with them on. I was worried that the tread would wear faster in the heat of the south during the two weeks. I checked the tread depth and didn't notice. Handled the I75 fine through snow, rain and wind.
I only mention wind because road to tire to steering wheel can make a difference when controlling you vehicle.
I plan on buying these same tires for my Honda Civic.
