Follow-Up Review: 25,000 miles on tires
In my 1st review, I said 'Definitely' to Would I Purchase Again, now it would be somewhere between Possibly and Probably.

After another 26,000 miles, I can now give a more accurate accounting of my experience with these tires. Though they're probably the most comfortable tires I've ever ridden on, there are a few things about this tire that seem to fall short. An all season tire is of course not going give you the traction in snow like a snow tire would, but the Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S's I previously had fared much better in the snow than these do. I've had to have 2 replaced over time as the soft sidewall makes these tires vulnerable to sidewall damage from potholes. Bad news if you live in the NYC/NJ area. Thank heaven for road hazard warranties, right? These tires are very prone to flat spotting in cold weather, but no big deal as that goes away within a few miles. The S on the tread's DWS is worn off on the 2 original ones now meaning Consumer Reports giving them a half black circle in the tread life category was accurate. A 50,000 mile tire? Probably not.

Don't get me wrong, I still think they're good tires and will probably buy them again. But I'm gonna take a good look at the alternatives available when 'tire time' comes around again.
Initial Review: 500 miles on tires
Replaced the Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S's that were great when they were new, but got unbearably noisier the more they wore. Decided to go with the Continental DWS's after all the reviews from people with the same car here and on the Acura discussion forum, www.acurazine.com
The 1st thing I noticed was the vast improvement in ride comfort and lack of road noise, like no other tire I've ever owned. I feel like I'm driving a new car aqain! First day in the rain yesterday and they didn't hydroplane AT ALL. Although I consider myself a 'spirited' driver, I don't take turns at 90 so I can't complain about soft sidewalls like some others have. I also haven't experienced any flat spotting either. No wonder this tire is a Consumer Reports recommended Ultra High Performance all season tires. I'll update this review after the snow and ice hit soon. But so far at least, LOVE 'EM, LOVE 'EM, LOVE 'EM !
