Initial Review: 8,000 miles on tires

Purchased the Conti's after a set of Bridgestone RE 970's. The Bridgestone's handled great, but always had too much vibration, even with road force balancing, and wore out after 20k miles. Overall, much prefer the Conti's. They are smoother, quieter, and deliver better gas mileage (+10-15% better highway). They don't handle corners as well as the Bridgestone's--they have a softer sidewall--but are better in so many other ways that I prefer them overall. Currently have 8k miles on them and they are wearing well. Highly recommended.
