When I got these tires as a Christmas gift, the salesman remarked that they were an awful lot of tire for my Taurus. But, sometimes, too much of a good thing is exactly what you need, even if you dont have to drive like Jimmie Johnson or Jeff Gordon..This tire doesn't care if the pavement is dry, drowning in a downpour, covered with slush or underneath a bed of clean, powdery snow.from a dusting to several inches. Beautifully smooth, quiet ride. My car sits outside and the brutal cold of this 2013/14 winter didn't bother it, either. There were no flat spots from sitting 8-10 hours in subzero temps-they just roll with it. Excellent control and handling on the unplowed, powder-covered or snow-packed roads here in the Chicago burbs. These are simply the best overall tire I've had regardless of weather or driving conditions for a passenger car
