Initial Review: 20,000 miles on tires
November 27, 2013

I knew going in that the Conti's have very soft sidewalls thus diminishing the crisp turn-ins. I wanted a slightly more compliant ride and thought that I could live with the compromise. After 20k miles, I can tell you that I don't like these tire. The initial response is so vague that it's hard to determine what is happening between the tires and the road. It's taken some of the joys out of driving a nimble car. However, the wet traction continues to be excellent and even performs well in light snow. The ride is good and the noise level is low but I believe now there are other tires that provide all of those features while providing much sharper response and more ultimate dry grip.
