Initial Review: 25,000 miles on tires

This tire was a HUGE imporvement in the snow and ice of NE Ohio over the OEM Hankook Optimos (which were horrible). The reason I said I would not buy these tires anymore is because they were completely shot after 25,000 miles (actually they were shot before 20,000). When the tread reaches the end of its life they are terrible in the snow (like the Hankooks), but the S on the DWS was gone, so the system works as advertised. In general I thought they were good tires, they just didn't live up to the advertised life, so that was disappointing. I did not mark them down anywhere except for the teadwear because of this.
