Initial Review: 16,000 miles on tires

I've been driving on these Continental's for fourteen months and it's hard to find any faults. Negligible wear, excellent handling and braking in most conditions. Ice is ice and without studs all tires slip a bit. These Continentals do too but it is not more than can be expected. With the aggressive tread they have a little howl at highway speeds but if the radio is on it's not intrusive. These tires provide taut handling and as such they are not meant for a floaty ride; not harsh, but they are firm. I will buy these again if I still have the TDI when they finally wear out.
