Let me start by saying I'd prefer to run separate tires for winter and summer but I don't have the room anymore for 2 sets. If you are looking for a winter oriented all season tire consider the Conti DWS. I've had the Bridgestone RE970as and the Yokohama Wdrive. The Bridgestone is a better summer oriented all season tire and offers better steering response with a stiffer sidewall but this Conti is quieter and offers better traction in the snow, almost as good as the Wdrive (a V-rated snow). I was amazed how well these tires gripped in the 4+ of new snow on the Salt Lake City roads. The
