Initial Review, 7,500 Miles on Tires I bought the DWS because the stock tires were terrible in snowy conditions. One of my criteria was a quiet tire. I was pleased with this tire on both counts. What I was not prepared for was how well these tires performed on pavemment, even dry pavement; especially a Volvo wagon. If a XC70 can feel like its diving on rails, then the tire has to be good.
