Initial Review, 7,000 Miles on Tires These Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires replaced my original equipment tires which were Michelin Pilot's ( which I will never have on my car again- when they wear- they slip in anything wet!!!!). I am so happy with this choice of tire, the treadwear measurement after 7,000 miles is 9/32's- very good. I have not driven with these tires in snow yet, so will see how that is, but I have driven in rain with these tires and they are like night and day to the Michelin Pilot's wet traction problem. Just have to make sure to keep balance done and alignment correct with these, which is normal for any tire!
