Follow-Up Review: 11,000 miles on tires
March 09, 2013
Now that we have had a few snow storms- I can report on the handling in the snow- very good while driving straight, they do slide a little in the turns with the snow- but they are all season tires not just snow tires! Definitely would buy these tires again. The wear is very good at 11,000- 8/32! These tires are great in the rain and wet pavement and really good in the snow- just not in turns so much. I am not having any problem with noise from these tires- just keep them rotated, balanced and aligned and they should be good for you!
Initial Review: 7,000 miles on tires
November 16, 2012

These Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires replaced my original equipment tires which were Michelin Pilot's ( which I will never have on my car again- when they wear- they slip in anything wet!!!!). I am so happy with this choice of tire, the treadwear measurement after 7,000 miles is 9/32's- very good. I have not driven with these tires in snow yet, so will see how that is, but I have driven in rain with these tires and they are like night and day to the Michelin Pilot's wet traction problem. Just have to make sure to keep balance done and alignment correct with these, which is normal for any tire! I really searched all ratings on tires for my car before picking this tire- very glad that I did!!!
