Initial Review, 5,000 Miles on Tires If you live in a state with all 4 seasons and cannot spend the money for summer and winter tires, this is the tire for you. After my experience with these tires, I believe that summer only tires are only for the occasional track driver. These tires are the best tires I have ever owned. They perform especially well on european cars for some reason. I have a friend with a VW with the same tires and they are great on his car as well.
