Initial Review, 1,000 Miles on Tires Bought this car 1 year ago with the Michelin Run Flats. They were noisy, rough riding, poor traction, would spin on dry roads just nailing it in 1st & 2nd. Hydroplaned easily on wet, nothing in light snow. Couldn't wait to change over to the DWS. Problems all solved. Quiet, smooth over bumps, dry traction much improved, wet traction a 10 - 80mph in rain no problem. Corvette C5 owners note. Went up a size on the rears to 295-35-18, same size as Z06. Look really -----in. 11.5" wide tread vs. 10" stock. I worried about being slightly shorter tire, but this concern was unfounded. Only a very slight difference in revolutions to stock size, a non issue, so do it. This is the best tire ever. See the test results. With this tire, you get the ultimate performance in ALL seasons. Bought the tire fix kit for flats. The tread pattern is unique and looks awesome. Slight softness to steering response but benefits the smooth ride without harshness, a fair trade off. This car is now transformed into a pleasant quiet cruiser on the highway, with exceptional grip in all seasons, -----in good looks with the 295's in back, and hard slip free acceleration in the dry. Your choice of tires is a huge consideration. Unquestionable the DWS is a 10 in my book. 50k mile warrantee makes the price real easy.
