Initial Review, 6,500 Miles on Tires I was hesitant to buy this tire because I wasn't happy with the OEM Continentals on a couple Nissans I had before this Jetta. I'm very happy that I decided to get these, though. In dry conditions, there's nothing special about this tire, it feels like your standard all-season. In wet conditions it's impressive. With about 3000 miles on the tires I drove through torrential down-pour on the Ohio turnpike. There were times I was driving through at least an inch of standing water at 60 mph and the car stayed planted. No hydroplaning at all. I can't wait to see how they perform in the snow seeing as how they've been called the best snow tire without buying a dedicated snow tire.
