Initial Review, 1,000 Miles on Tires I just replaced my factory BF Goodrich tires which only lasted 3 years. They were terrible in all kinds of weather and I really should have replaced them after 1 year. I am not a tire "expert" nor do I have a true sports car (but the Z rating is recommended) and after hours of research I chose the Continental Extreme Contact DWS (ASR). I cannot believe the difference driving and I am so impressed with them as I had to drive through a torrential rain storm for about 1 hour and I could feel the traction grab the road and never worried about hydroplaning. AFter installing them with one tire company, I then had them aligned with my regular Toyota dealership so I have no issues with alignment or noise. In fact, the ride is smooth, quiet & I feel very confident with my choice. As I just installed them (July 2012) I actually can't wait to try them on snow & ice so I will update my review then.
