Follow-Up Review: 27,000 miles on tires
March 11, 2013
Now at 27000 miles. Our car has the staggered wheel setup and have noticed a wear difference from front vs rear. The fronts still have the d,w & s still visible while the s is completely gone on the rears. All four are still quiet and handle great. I'm guessing I'll need to replace the rears at about 35000 and the fronts look to possibly push past 40k!! Not bad at all for this car- beyond my expectations!! I will absolutely stick with these tires..
Initial Review: 10,000 miles on tires

I bought these to replace the terrible, short life, noisy, super expensive, run flat Dunlops that came oem on our X5 4.8 sport pkg. These tires are a great choice for this car. Being an SUV and driven primarily by my wife, they are super quiet, smooth, seem to wear very well, have the ability to handle some snow/rain, and handle pretty good (one step down from the oem tires). This is just right for us. Since a run flat is required for our vehicle (no spare), I have installed a small compressor and have a few tubes of slime under the cargo area. If this doesn't work - i guess we call roadside assistance. This is a very small price to pay in what these tires do for the daily livability for this car (IMHO).. Great tires - buy 'em.
