Initial Review, 24,500 Miles on Tires I replaced a set of Pilot A2's from Michelin that were useless on snow! I chose Extreme Contact DWS's based on your reviews and I have not been disappointed! Dry traction is a good as it can get! Same can be said about wet road traction. I have yet to experinece hydroplaning or slippage around corners! Snow tractioon does exist with this tire. 2" or less and this tire just eats up the road! When it gets deeper then there is a bit of slippage, particularly from a standing start! In deep snow caution is needed! The tires are substantially quieter than the A2's and the overall experience is outstanding compared to the A2's and at a significant savings! The only complaintI have is on really cold mornings there is a flat spot bumping for the first few miles that disappears after the tires are warmed! I have recommended this tire to several friends and some have purchased them. All seem as happy as a peacock with three new feathers! An extraordinary tire at a down to earth price!
