Initial Review, 13,000 Miles on Tires I am on my third set of tires on my GL450, the first set was Continental OEM, I got less than 16 K miles, the second were Michelin LTX, I got 70 K miles which are no long made for my GL, after doing my market research on all brands for my GL, I decided on the Continental C.C. LX20 with EcoPlus Technology believe me after the first set of Continental they would be my last choice if at all. I spoke with several Continental representatives about this tire; I was assured this was a great tire. So, I decided and purchase this tire. Just as previous reviewers have stated this tire is extremely quiet on the road. They are excellent in snow and ice. Twice, I was in a snow and ice storm going through the mountains of West Virginia over the Christmas holiday. There were vehicles all over the road and off the road. These tires performed quiet well on both snow and ice. I could easily maneuver around vehicles that could not make in steep inclines. My family loves to go skiing and snowboarding and the safety is my priority, I have never felt so save driving through the mountains on a set tire.
