Initial Review, 5,000 Miles on Tires This tire was not designed for a vehicle as large or as heavy as the Lexus LX470. The tires are extremely quiet and the ride is superb but the tire are too soft. Cornering and quick steering maneuvers are unpredictable with these tires. Not to mention the poor consistency in manufacturing: went through seven tires before finally exchanging them for Bridgestone Alenzas, which are superb on this vehicle. The defective tires were out of round, couldn't be balanced within spec on a road force balancer, and even the best of the seven still had vibration issues. The Alenzas are like riding on rails.
