Initial Review: 13,000 miles on tires

OEM tires for my manual Versa Hatch. On sound, dry pavement, turning from a stop sign, they break traction on moderate take-offs (122hp). They hydroplane a bit, even with inflation on the high side, and are generally mediocre in the rain (not as bad as a 2wd pickup I once had, but a close second). In snow, shallow or deep, they're about the worst tires I've owned in 40 years of driving. And though they're supposedly warranteed for 60,000 miles, they're already over 40% worn at 13,000, almost twice the wear they're supposed to have. I'm a pretty frugal guy, but I'm not going to wait any longer to replace these lousy tires.
