Initial Review, 32,105 Miles on Tires These tires came as OE on my 2010 VW Golf TDI. They were smooth and very little noise for a low profile tire. After about 25,000 miles noise and poor wet weather handling came to play. At 32,000 miles I had to replace them due to wear. I have always achieved 50,000 to 70,000 on different sets of tires. I thought this was odd but after reading some of the other views, I am not alone. I am a very conservative driver so I was surprised. After reading reviews on TireRack I am trying another set of Continentals, the PureContact DWS. They are rated as a best seller and the ride after 3,400 miles iis great. Night and day ride quality. I will have to post how they perform on mileage at another time. I would not recommend the Continental ContiProContact to anyone looking for tires.
