Initial Review, 32,000 Miles on Tires My C300 Mercedes is a very quiet car and the tires seem fine in this regard. Handling is also fine. BUT - in the summer, when the tires are hot, they make a very pronounced rolling noise that is only apparent when the windows are open. I had the top trouble-shooter at Mercedes here in Toronto check out the car. I though there was a problem with balancing, or wheel bearings, or brakes but the final diagnosis was the tires. I have been happy with the treadlife but this problem surfaced around 25,000 miles and is only getting worse.
