After reading the last review I feel I need to add my opinion (I generally don't take the time until now). I have a 2011 Hyundai Azera Limited that I purchased in the summer of 2010. The car came with Michelin MVX4 Symmetry tires with a DOT date 3907. For those of you that don't pay attention to DOT dates perhaps you should. Basically after 3 years and 40K miles my OEM tires were hot due to dry rot. However, my Michelins were an extremely quite, smooth riding tire that were quite responsive and held up well in all kinds of weather. So, naturally when I realized (per-maturely as it was) I needed to replace my tires I went to my number one source for advise - Tire Rack.
After much research I purchased four tires Bridgestone Serenity Plus and contrary to the last few opinions I am EXTREMLY satisfied with my purchase. As soon as I drove off the lot I noticed how quiet my ride was. Road noise was reduced significantly - almost non existent and the comfort of these tires have been quite impressive. They grip the road well and handle smoothly on dry roads highway and city. Can't offer an opinion for wet/snow conditions. Just bought them. One of my main reasons for purchasing these tires is that they cost much less than Michelins and from other reviews the overwhelming consensus was positive. I can't understand why the last reviewer had such a poor experience. Perhaps the installer didn't install correctly.
I will report back later when I've had a chance to experience wet conditions as hydro planing is one thing my Serenity Plus tires were rated high in ad well. I do thank all that have taken their time to offer their opinions as I always find this very helpful when making decisions.
