Bridgestone Turanza EL400-02
Initial Review: 30,000 miles on tires

These tires were pretty much total crap. Had a set on a 2006 Civic, ran them one winter then put on dedicated winter tires. The Bridgestones got about 30K miles then were totally bald. I'm sure Honda saved $20 each on the tires, but they aren't worth a nickel. I also have a set on my 2011 jetta TDI Sportwagen (also factory OEM) and they have about 20K and are half tread depth. I'm changing them out at the next opportunity. Bottom line - the car companies save some money and you get a very lousy set of tires. The worst part is that the tires aren't good at anything - equally lousy in all aspects of tire performance. Compared to Michelin X on the Civic and even General Altimax snow tires on my Jetta, they are weak. Avoid these like the plague.
