	Initial Review, 2,000 Miles on Tires March 13, 2012 Right off the bat, I immediately noticed the tire has a ton of dry grip, and its amazingly quiet. Switching from the RE760 right before the S04, the wet traction is a big step of improvement. The tire response is darty, and cornering ability has been very good and very stable. After wearing off the outer case the grip is even more impressive. I have to say this is the first tire that I ever used with this many balanced benefits while keeping such a high tread-wear rating. A few things I have observed so far. The "sweet spot" tire pressure is sensitive. I have to tweak it a few times to get to where I really liked, and more or less than that 3 psi range will not let you take advantage of its full potential. The other thing I wish it was different for the S04 PP was I was hoping symmetrical patterns. So I can rotate the tires inside out when toe/camber wear becomes noticeable. I later discovered the inner tire compound are designed to last longer than the grippier outer blocks. If your car/alignment setting does not have aggressive toe setting or the 1000 mile extra life is not a concern to you, then the S04PP is a great choice.
