Initial Review, 300 Miles on Tires So far, loving this tire! This is the first Max Performance tire I have ran in a many years. I have always used Extreme tires like the RE11, AD08, XS, and Star Spec. Believe it or not(on the street), this tire feels a lot like them. Steering response is fantastic, and I love how stiff the sidewalls are. They seem to have about as stiff as a sidewall as my previous Advan AD08s, minus all the tire noise. Very smooth tire, and barely any tire noise. My first choice was going to be the Michelin PSS, but they do not offer a 255/40/17, so I went with the S04s.
