I purchase these to replace summer tires that came with the car. I had owned a C5 A6 with RE960s and was very pleased. These have been a disappointment both in dry and snow. In dry conditions they make any annoying whine around 50 mph. With the abundance of snow this season they have been unsatisfactory. They have very poor traction in even small snowfalls. They do not grip the snow but seem to slide on top of it. I would not recommend this car and tire combination in any area that receives average winter snowfall.
