Initial Review, 750 Miles on Tires
October 14, 2012

I just replaced a set of continental pure contact with this tire. Pure contact is very smooth, great dry and wet traction which last a long time but suffers in steering response, and to it's credit not designed to act like a high performance all season and that's why I got the Potenza RE970AS. So far so good I have to say and does live up to all great reviews it has received here. Though I have very little miles on it, yet I had the chance to drive it periodically over 120 mph and up to 140 mph, hard rain and accumulates water patches, cornering hard and few hard breaks ( to test ). I must say that I'm impressed with stability and all-around performance. I will come back with additional notes as I get to rack up more miles on these tires.
