Initial Review, 1,000 Miles on Tires Upgraded the rims on my car and after seeing all the positive reviews here I decided to go with the RE970s. In terms of control in dry and wet roads, I was really impressed as the grip was amazing going through twisty roads and in the rain, hydroplaning did occur over a huge puddle but even when it did, I felt in control. Also I could really "feel" the road through the tires as it might have been the suspension as well but even the slightest bump on the road I could feel.
