Follow-Up Review: 1,500 miles on tires
August 23, 2012
It's been another month and another 1000 miles total. We've had some rain and wet traction is good. I really have trouble remembering that these are run-flat tires. They smooth out bumps that were really jarring before. I'm glad that I stuck with run-flats. They're great tires.
Initial Review: 500 miles on tires
July 24, 2012

The Potenza RE960AS Pole Position RFT replaced OEM Potenza previous generation summer tires on my 2007 BMW 328i with sport package. I was considering Michelin Pilot Sport go-flat tires, but I do like the run flat concept. These tires give a softer, smoother, quieter ride than the originals. They work well on wet pavement and seem to corner about as well as the OEM tires. The Tire Rack video helped me decide. I am looking forward to about twice the mileage.
