Initial Review: 20,000 miles on tires

I replaced the RE960's I had on my 2010 Jetti TDI Cup Edition, with these, and was concerned because of the lower price point, thinking I must be giving up something. Every review I read said, Quietest tires ever etc. I am totally convinced that this is actually a BETTER tire than the 960's, and about $50 a tire less. I just don't recall my 960's being as quiet as these when new. With the 960's, I got 40,000 miles out of them, but the last 10,000 were quite noisy as they became kinda chopped. I'll probably experience the same with these, but if they last 30,000 which I fully expect, I'll consider replacing them if they begin to get a little noisy. I just hope they're available when I go to buy them......I won't even bother considering another. Crazy good grip in dry and wet, and quiet, and reasonably priced. What more can you ask for? Also, maintain balance very well......I've had them up to 130mph, and smooth as a baby's butt.
