Initial Review, 2,500 Miles on Tires I bought these to replace a bad set of other new tires. These tires grip very well, ride pretty good, the XL rating makes them a bit firmer on certain bumps. Wet traction from a standing start could be a little better. Hydroplaning resistance is very good. They are quiet. And high speed driving is perfectly smooth. I'm watching to see if they are wearing, they don't seem to be. There is some cold tire flat spotting, but it goes away in less than 2 miles at over 50mph.
