Initial Review, 10,000 Miles on Tires
Bridgestone Potenza's rock. I have bought them for many years with never a complaint. Ran them on my Carrera and both Boxsters. Love them on my XRS. Live in the mountains of NC. Hwy 181 from Morganton to Linville I travel weekly. Have smoked every car I have come up on so far. Not to surprising in the Porsches, but in a Corolla XRS it is mindblowing. Yes, there is some body roll and some sliding in the rear but this little XRS is nothing short of amazing. I have been priviledged to own quite a fleet of sports cars also including and EVO, RX-7 Turbo II, etc and I must say for an economy ride that won't get you pulled over, this XRS is the ticket! (to avoid tickets!) I have read the other reviews with the whining of short tire life... This is a high performance, STICKY tire guys... of course it wears quickly... it STICKS LIKE GLUE IN THE MEANTIME!!! Go ahead and buy a longer lasting tire if you like but just remember the Rule Of The Road... SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT!!! Because me and the Potenzas are surely going to blow you off the road with your lesser threads! I know you think not but stay tuned!!! See ya on the mountain!
